Bob Marley and the Wailers: Toronto, 1975

Bob Marley and the Wailers Live at Massey Hall, Toronto, Ontario, June 8, 1975 is the first international show of the 1975 Natty Dread tour.

This show is most memorable for all of the ad-libbing that Marley does between songs.  Bob was not one to talk much between songs.  He must have felt extra talky on this night because he leaves us with some great quotes.

“So I shot the sheriff.  Now I wasn’t no fast draw or anything, but I could shoot straight.”

Bob’s 7-year old son Ziggy joins him on stage to perform Natty Dread.

I have included a short video clip from the Massey Hall performance.  This very rare video just recently came to light on the web.
