Exclusive! Interview with Al Anderson of “The Original Wailers”

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Al Anderson yesterday at the Ram’s Head Inn in Annapolis, MD for an interview which ended up lasting for more than an hour.  The story and an edited interview will be published exclusively at www.worldareggae.com.  The interview in it’s entirety will be posted right here at

.

For those who don’t know, Al Anderson is a legendary rock and reggae guitarist who is most famous for being the lead guitarist for Bob Marley and the Wailers from 1974-1980.  He continued on with The Wailers until they split several years ago.  He now tours with The Original Wailers feat. Desi Hyson.  They recently released an EP called Miracle, which has received high praise.  You can preview the EP below.

I have included a teaser for the interview.  It will be published as soon as I finish transcribing and editing.

On July 8, 2012 my good friend and legendary Jamaican singer Bob Andy was featured on “Reggae Central,” a reggae show broadcast from KPFK_FM in Los Angeles, CA.  Bob was in Los Angeles to play Ziggy Marley’s Legends of Reggae show along with Freddie McGregor and Maxi Priest.

I have provided a link to the broadcast below.
