Such a fitting song for a day like this. A day when terrorists knocked at the door of the great Peter Tosh. Terrorists who made this great, proud man get to his knees on his kitchen floor. Terrorists who brutally took his life as he pray to JAH for the very last time.
Terrorists who hit the U.S., killing innocent women and children on a Tuesday morning just like this. I was working on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. that Tuesday morning when they hit the World Trade Center and Pentagon. One week later I was at Ground Zero, where I would stay, off and on, for several months.
Today is a day to remember these tragedies and to acknowledge the effect these events had in our lives.
