Bob Marley brings prisoners for Palma

Bob Marley brings prisoners for Palma
Jamaica Gleaner
September 12, 2012
According to the following interview with musician Triston Palmer, Bob Marley played a show in Jamaica to memorialize deceased leader of the Shower Posse gang, Claudie Massop.  This show has been rumored by archivists and collectors, so it is noteworthy that Palmer confirms its occurrence.  According to Palmer, he played the General Penitentiary Memorial Concert for Claudie Massop in 1979, which featured Bob Marley and the Wailers.
I have searched many sources and could find no reference to this show.  I will, however, continue to seek out information on it.  If you have any information you would like to share, please email me at midnightraverblog@gmail.com.
Big thanks to my good friend Tammy Beveridge at MovementOfJahPeople for sharing this interview with the MIDNIGHT RAVER BLOG.
