Horace Andy feat. Rockers All Stars “Youths of Today” / “Rockers Youth” (1978)

Jah blessed I with many press articles and crucial biographical information about the master of the melodica.  This is a true blessing because relatively little is known about such a towering figure in music. The press item is a profile of Pablo from the Village Voice.  Big thanks to my good friend and MIDNIGHT RAVER BLOG contributor MIDNIGHT DREAD for sourcing the article.
In addition to the press item, I am sharing one of my favorite Rockers tracks.  Horace Andy’s “Youths of Today” and the Rockers All Stars’ riddim track on the flip side called “Rockers Youth” are just heavy, heavy tunes.  The “Youths of Today” riddim track is just deadly!
The 7″ 45rpm vinyl, originally pressed in 1978, was re-pressed and released by the Pressure Sounds label in 2006.  A must have!
Label: Rockers – RP45013
Format: Vinyl, 7″
