Exclusive interview with Glen DaCosta of Bob Marley and the Wailers

A whole heap a’ sax in this 3 hour show, a tribute to the late Wentworth Vernal (the Termites) and an exclusive live interview with Glen DaCosta of Bob Marley and the Wailers. Bob’s 1979 Survival tour featured a terrific horns section of Glen Da Costa on saxophone and David Madden on trumpet.

Check the live recordings of “Wake Up & Live” (wicked sax solo) and “Is This Love.”

The following rare photos of DaCosta backstage at Harlem’s Apollo Theater were exclusively released by Midnight Raver in September 2015. I was given several photo contact sheets by a friend containing never-before published photos of Bob Marley performing at Harlem’s Apollo Theater in October 1979. The photos had been sitting in a box in a garage since 1979. After conducting a ton of research it appears that the photos were taken by French photographer Franck Vieljeux.
