Here is another great sounding show from the Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers farewell tour in 2000. Many great shows on this tour, where the Melody Makers traveled the US as part of the Furthur Festival. “How far you goin’? Furthur…”
This audio is sourced from the master audience recording of the show. Give thanks to bigdaddybflo for providing this audio.

Burning daylight is here to back weh all foggy roads & misty mornings with a nineteen track sunny side salute to Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Lee Perry, The Upsetters and many others. In line with Midnight Raver’s Millennial Milestone Fete here’s many great and scarce selections taken from DAT tape and other clean sources ready to melt away all blues and negativity in these trying times. Studio may be kinda cloudy but the speakers and dreadphones beget a brighter forecast. Everyone’s going to see clearly now that the rain is gone and Bob and buds are on the box non-stop, version ‘pon version, disinfecting the stagnant status and finding cracks in everything that need exposure and lightness. Be a rainbow too. To the rescue. Here I and I am. Spring into Summer. Suns are shining!
Tomorrow I will be taking mini-Raver to see Three Little Birds, the play based on Cedella marley’s book of the same name. Here is whatwww.jamaicansmusic.com is saying:
Based on her book ‘Three Little Birds’ featuring music and lyrics by her dad, Bob Marley, themusical is set to run from March 15 to April 14 with its world premiere at the Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC) in Maryland’s historic Glen Echo Park tomorrow.

The show features three little birds singing their sweet songs to Ziggy, a very shy child who is happy to see the world from the TV in his room. Ziggy’s tricky friend Nansi wants him to get out and enjoy the island nation of Jamaica but, Ziggy is afraid of hurricanes, mongooses and evil spirits. The worldly adventure is brightened by the fantastic songs of Marley.
